Il giornalista collettivo contro Melania Trump

Qualcuno ha ascoltato o letto il discorso che alla convention repubblicana Melania Trump avrebbe copiato, secondo il giornalista collettivo non soltanto europeo, dalla Michelle Obama del 2008? Non diciamo il popolo della rete, che legge soltanto i titoli (come del resto i suoi genitori che compravano i quotidiani una volta), ma i giornalisti che in teoria dovrebbero scriverne. La moglie del candidato repubblicano alla presidenza degli Stati Uniti ha parlato alla Quicken Loans Arena per 14 minuti e mezzo esprimendo concetti non memorabili ma in linea con quanto nel 99% dei casi esprime la moglie di un candidato a qualsiasi carica. Richiamo alle origini, lisciamento di pelo alla folla, enfasi su presunti valori fondamentali e inviolabili, i figli che devono sempre esserci, l’esaltazione delle qualità del marito, secondo uno schema consolidato e che anzi proprio Trump ogni tanto rompe andando dritto sull’attualità stretta a costo di far stizzire il New York Times della situazione. I passaggi incriminati, mettiamo in neretto le frasi forse copiate da scrittori di discorsi sull’orlo di essere ‘fired’, in stile trumpiano, sono i seguenti. Il nostro inglese zoppicante non li aveva colti al primo ascolto e nemmeno al secondo, così abbiamo dovuto ricorrere alle trascrizioni.

In definitiva: in entrambi i casi concetti alti ma molto generici, che avremmo potuto ascoltare anche in un discorso di Mattarella, con almeno due frasi sospette, l’1% del discorso. Ma questo il popolo della rete, fra un retweet e l’altro, non può saperlo. Così nella testa della sciura Maria, che basa la sua visione del mondo sui titoli del Tg1, del suo disoccupato figlio laureato in scienze della comunicazione con tesi su Ilaria D’Amico, ma anche dello zio intelligente che compra Repubblica per leggere la posta di Augias, rimarrà per sempre fissa la notizia che Melania Trump è una copiona. I Trump non arriveranno mai alla Casa Bianca, al di là dei sondaggi strafavorevoli ai Clinton scommetteremmo su di un attentato alla stella di The Apprentice (un demente manovrabile lo trovi a ogni angolo di strada), ma ci sono sempre più simpatici. Se i problemi dei media con Donald sono evidenti, il principale è che lui dice esattamente ciò che molti in questo momento storico vogliono sentirsi dire mentre i media hanno una morale elitaria ed elitistica, la vicenda del discorso ha per la prima volta fatto parlare di Melania per motivi differenti dal suo aspetto. Con la discesa in campo delle vecchie armi progressiste, come la messa in ridicolo di aspetti secondari dell’avversario.
