Fognini-Popyrin, preview e scommesse

La partita tra Fabio Fognini e Alexei Popyrin, nella prima giornata del Roland Garros 2022, domenica 22 maggio dopo le 14.30, ha attirato la nostra attenzione e quindi le nostre scommesse. L’italiano, numero 52 ATP, negli ultimi tempi sta giocando bene e le sconfitte subite hanno tutte una logica, anche quella recente contro Kokkinakis a Ginevra. A 35 anni sta chiudendo con la testa giusta, magari in doppio arriverà fino ai 40.

L’australiano, numero 103, a 23 anni sta cercando di fare il salto di qualità e di uscire dallo schema servizio-diritto che a livello giovanile ne ha fatto un predestinato (lo vedemmo per la prima volta al Bonfiglio, poco dopo una splendida finale Rybakina-Swiatek) ma che fra i grandi non basta. Vuole migliorare anche sulla terra e la vittoria al Challenger di Bordeaux lo prova, per questo il Roland Garros che lo mise sulla mappa cinque anni fa, quando vinse il torneo junior, può essere il torneo della svolta.

Fognini è il favorito, con un dignitoso 1,55 per la sua vittoria, ma secondo noi la quota di valore è quella di Popyrin. La nostra scommessa è quindi questa: 35 euro su Popyrin vincente a 2,46, per vincere 51,1 euro o perderne 35.

The match between Fabio Fognini and Alexei Popyrin on the first day of Roland Garros 2022 on Sunday 22 May after 2.30pm caught our attention and thus our bets. The Italian, number 52 ATP, has been playing well recently and the defeats he has suffered all have a logic, including the recent one against Kokkinakis in Geneva. At the age of 35, he is closing in with the right head, maybe in doubles he will make it to 40.
