Berrettini-Murray e altre scommesse

Con il dispiacere per l’uscita di scena di Musetti mettiamo la testa sulle scommesse per il Day 2 degli Australian Open 2023. Già alla una della notte italiana fra lunedì e martedì saremo in pista, con il primo turno che Mattia Bellucci si è conquistato alla grande. L’avversario è l’esperto francese Benjamin Bonzi, che però soltanto nel 2022 ha fatto il salto di qualità. Quanto al mancino lombardo numero 153 del mondo, contro i pari grado ci è piaciuto per la sua costruzione dei punti, ma è al suo primo match in un tabellone ATP del circuito maggiore e rispetto a Bonzi ci sembra che la palla viaggi a velocità diversa. Ottima quindi la quota di Bonzi vincente su Bellucci a 1,45: 100 euro (quota Bet365.it).

Quasi in contemporanea una partita molto più equilibrata a dispetto di ciò che dice la classifica (numero 21 WTA l’italiana, un ingannevole 105 la slovacca), fra Martina Trevisan e Anna Karolina Schmiedlova. La Trevisan è fisicamente la metà della sua avversaria, ma è in un momento di grande serenità e fiducia: 50 euro sulla Trevisan vincente a 1,97. 

Verso le 4 del mattino un Berrettini-Murray imperdibile anche senza scommettere, con l’italiano dato in forma eccellente e lo scozzese ex numero 1 del mondo che quelli con una palla pesante non li batte più. Vediamo un Berrettini in quattro set, ma ci limitiamo al compitino e scommettiamo 100 euro su Berrettini vincente su Murray ad un dignitoso 1,32.

Una scommessa rischiosissima, ma non demenziale, è quella su Fabio Fognini contro Thanasi Kokkinakis. Intendiamoci: l’australiano compagno di merende di Kyrgios è in ottima forma, ad Adelaide ha appena battuto Rublev ed anche nella sconfitta contro Sinner ci è piaciuto. In un secondo turno, con i problemi di recupero che Fognini alla sua età ha, scommetteremmo su Kokkinakis ma al primo turno 10 euro su Fognini vincitore a 5,00 li mettiamo.

Più fondata la scommessa su un altro anziano, Richard Gasquet, che ultimamente abbiamo visto, quasi commuovendoci, soltanto nella finale di Auckland contro Norrie, che ha raddrizzato in maniera quasi incredibile. Certo Humbert è di 12 anni più giovane, eccetera, ma sulla singola partita e senza problemi di fatica secondo noi l’ex bambino prodigio di Francia e il suo meraviglioso rovescio sono ancora favoriti: 50 euro su Gasquet vincente a 1,73.

Around 4 a.m. a Berrettini-Murray not to be missed even without betting, with the Italian given in excellent form and the Scottish former world number 1 who no longer beats those with a heavy ball. We see a Berrettini winner in four sets, but we limit ourselves and we will bet 100 euros on Berrettini winning over Murray at a decent 1.32.

A very risky but not stupid bet is on Fabio Fognini against Thanasi Kokkinakis. Let’s be clear: Kyrgios’ friend is in excellent form, he has just beaten Rublev in Adelaide and even in his defeat against Sinner we liked him. In a second round, with the recovery problems that Fognini at his age has, we would bet on Kokkinakis but in the first round we put 10 euros on Fognini winning at 5.00.

More justified is the bet on another old man, Richard Gasquet, whom we have seen in the Auckland final against Norrie, which he straightened out in an almost unbelievable manner.
